Norma Jean Dean, oi/3d cut laser paper on canvas was created in my Miami studio , 2010. The James Dean image is created by a handmade stencil that was dry brushed with oils, The Marilyn Portrait is hand painted with three dimensionally raised eyes and lips that are hand cut form laser papers
If your wondering if Marilyn and James ever met, here is your answer. YES they met briefly with director Nicholas Ray in final film editing/viewings, but no attraction. Marilyn was several years older than Dean and probably viewed and judged him as adolescent and immature, as we know she preferred older men. She was also probably intimidated by his daredevil motorcycle riding around Hollywood.
