CARD SHARK
I will always consider America to be the greatest country in the world. But there are plenty of sharks in the water, so beware of bookies, brokers, lawyers, politicians, lenders, car salesman, and jewelers to name a few. A good friend of mine who is a lawyer saw this painting in my Philadelphia Gallery and was not to amused, she asked me,,,, “Perry, you forgot to put “ARTISTS’’ in the group. I just gave her a sarcastic LOL.
In researching imagery for this piece, i was immediately drawn to looking at photos from the classic 1975 American Thriller film JAWS! The prototypical summer blockbuster, its release is regarded as a watershed moment in motion picture history. All of us will never forget the music!
